🦀 R2 Not Working Gta 5

My R2 button is working when i play another games but when i get into Gta i can't shoot.How can i solve this problem?(i am in ps4) Locked post. New comments cannot be posted. From what I've researched, it has to do with my (in theory) worn out R2 trigger (even though it works just fine in every other game). It only shoots if I press it REALLY hard (almost breaking the controller) It seems to be a common issue, and it has to do with the way the game was programmed (it R2 not working? I got GTA as a gift from my friend cuz he wanted me to play with him. I was doing the Prologue after 7 hours of waiting and I couldn't shoot the security guard aiming a gun to Michael's head. I got the option to skip and I did then I got into a standoff with the cops. I was like great, now what. Try resetting the controller. There's a tiny button close to L2. Hold it in with a paper clip for 5 seconds. If that doesn't fix it, try moving your console to be facing towards you and make sure there's nothing in the way between it and the controller. Also , there is no auto aim on controller even if I put aim assist to full in the settings its just free aim nothing will change my controller is working fine in As I said this is NOT a defective R2 issue. This is a GT Sport software bug that has been confirmed with a brand-new Sony DS4 controller. The only workaround is to revert to the default controller configuration in which X button is for gas and [square] button for brake. You can export the config to your personal area so you'll always have it, but once you press 'Done' it's the configuration the game will load each time. You may have to reload that from your personal area when you reboot, until the game learns a bit about you - or not. lw5F.
